Strong housing systems are built by people who care enough to step up.

There is an urgent need to recruit new board members throughout the province. About 1,000 long-serving volunteers have dedicated years of leadership and service and about 300 are now ready to retire. However, without new members stepping forward, they are unable to transition out of their roles. Succession planning has become a critical issue for many non-profit housing organizations.

Affordable housing is the foundation of healthy, thriving communities.

By stepping forward as a board member, you help ensure that non-profit housing organizations remain resilient, accountable, and ready to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow — while supporting a smooth transition to the next generation of community leaders.
